Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a visa take?
Processing times vary depending on the destination, visa type, and nationality.
Some destinations offer faster processing options, while others may take several weeks.
Your available processing options and estimated timelines will be displayed after selecting your nationality, destination, and visa type.
When is the best time to apply for my visa?
It is recommended to apply 1–2 months before your intended travel date, as appointment availability and processing times can vary depending on destination and visa type.
If you are short on time, expedited options may be available depending on eligibility and the decision of the relevant authority.
Do I need to send my original passport?
Most visa applications require submission of the original passport, as the visa is affixed directly to a passport page.
