Passport

• Not older than 10 years with 2 blank pages, valid for at least 3 months from when applicant return to the UK

Letter of Employment

• ​For employed: Letter from employer dated and signed, stating job title, salary and start date of employment in the UK. And last 3 months payslips

• For self-employed: copy of trade license, accountant letter 

• For students/pupils: no objection letter from school or university, stating the start and the end date of studies and the course title.

Travelling for Business Purposes

• Letter of invitation from France on the company's letterhead, in which it states clearly: business relation that justifies your trip, purpose of the trip and duration of your stay in France.

Proof of Sufficient Funds

• Latest 3 months' UK bank statements showing the applicant's name, address, and end balance. Statements must be dated within the last month on the visa application submission date and stamped by a local branch. If employed, the statements must be from the account where the salary is deposited. The balance must cover a minimum of £48.00 per day of stay in the Schengen Area, plus any outstanding accommodation and travel fees.

Proof of accommodation 

• Hotel booking or property lease, in the name of applicant.

Travel Itinerary

• Return ticket fully paid, in the name of applicant

• If travelling by car: the applicant must provide the car registration certificate, valid car insurance, return travel tickets (ferry or Eurotunnel) showing the car’s registration number, and the driver’s valid driving licence. If the applicant is not the driver, a signed and dated cover letter from the driver must also be provided, confirming joint travel with the applicant and specifying the travel dates.

Travel Insurance 

• Must include name; region covered; duration of cover and details of what medical costs are covered. It must also specify that repatriation cost of at least €30000, in the event of injury or death, is included)
