Information for China Visa

Multiple Entry Applicants

Applicants are advised that the issuance of a visa valid for multiple entries is not guaranteed and is solely at the discretion of the visa officer. The Embassy's decision is final and cannot be contested by AllVisa.

Applicants of Chinese Origin

Travellers born in Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao must provide additional documentation to apply for their Chinese visa. Please contact AllVisa for further information.

Fingerprint Submission

If you are aged between 14 and 70, your China visa application will not be considered complete until you have submitted fingerprints at a China Visa Application Service Centre. After receiving all required materials for your visa application, we will call you to schedule an appointment to submit your fingerprints at a China Visa Application Service Centre located in London, Manchester, or Edinburgh. Our service includes a standard appointment, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Appointment-Based System & Processing Times

The Chinese consulates require all visa applicants to submit fingerprints as part of the submission process. AllVisa will schedule your appointment at a convenient time for you after you have submitted your documents and they have been approved. The wait time for appointments can be up to 3 weeks due to limited availability. The processing time quoted is the time taken for the visa to be received after the scheduled appointment. Please take this into consideration when requesting your China visa.
